Qualifications

• AA/AS/AAS or higher degree, or 60 college credits toward a bachelor's.
• Passing ParaPro or Paraeducator Assessment with high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to support students with IEPs and BIPs in inclusive settings.
• Basic computer/tablet skills (iPad usage, data recording).
• Must be on time and able to lift and move students when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing IEPs, 504 plans, BIPs and sensory plans.
• Support inclusion of students with disabilities in general education classrooms.
• Record data on IEP objectives and BIPs for monitoring progress.
• Assist with functional skills (feeding, dressing, toileting) and self-help activities.
• Support teachers in working with students with communication and behavioral needs.
• Move between classrooms and environments to meet varied student needs.
• Complete third-party billing daily and follow de-escalation strategies.
