Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing IEPs, 504 Plans, BIPs, and sensory plans.
• Support inclusion of students with disabilities in general education.
• Record data on IEP objectives and BIPs for progress monitoring.
• Assist with teaching functional skills and daily living activities.
• Support teachers with communication systems therapy and behavior management.
• Be mobile to meet varied student needs across environments.
• Assist in bus safety and field trips as required.
• Provide de-escalation strategies and Non-violent Crisis Intervention training.
