Job summary

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission - PGC Parks and Recreation is seeking Inclusion Support Staff for year-round part-time seasonal positions across Prince George's County. You will support participants with disabilities in recreation, childcare, and events, adapting activities and promoting inclusive participation.

Ideal candidates have experience in recreation, childcare, or educational settings, or with individuals with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with participants, families, and staff.
• Willingness to participate in all program activities and assist with adaptations.
• Maintain confidentiality and provide inclusive customer service to participants with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support participants with disabilities in accessing and actively participating in recreation programs, childcare, classes, and events.
• Adapt activities and provide individualized support to encourage social interaction.
• Communicate with staff and families to document and address participant needs.
