Job summary

PUC Schools is seeking an Inclusion Assistant to support students with IEPs in an inclusive classroom setting. You will help with academics, behavior, social-emotional regulation, and daily functioning while collecting behavior data for specialists and staff.

Strong data collection, communication, and teamwork are essential. The role requires completing required coursework (12 sem/18 qtr units) or holding a BA/BS, with preference for ABA knowledge and bilingual Spanish abilities.

Qualifications

• Must complete 12 semester units and/or 18 quarter units; BA/BS degree required
• Experience supporting students with special needs in an inclusive setting preferred
• Knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and ABA principles preferred

Responsibilities

• Support students with IEPs in academics, behavior, social-emotional regulation in inclusive classroom
• Collect data on behavior and supports for BID, Inclusion Specialist, and staff
• Assist with IEPs, tests, assignments, and records under supervision
• Foster a safe, nurturing learning environment and promote college readiness
