Job summary

PUC Triumph Charter High School is seeking an Inclusion Assistant to support students with IEPs in an inclusive 10-month program. The role emphasizes direct student support in academics, behavior, and social-emotional areas, data collection, and collaboration with the Inclusion Specialist. A BA/BS and related experience are required, with Spanish language skills preferred.

The position is full-time, hourly, with benefits including health, retirement, PTO, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must complete 12 semester units and/or 18 quarter units and be currently enrolled for the same units or possess a BA/BS degree required
• Prior experience working with students with special needs in a learning environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficient in data collection
• Strong math skills
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Flexible and team-oriented

Responsibilities

• Understand school-wide student and staff expectations and actively support programming for students with special needs in academics, behavior, social-emotional regulation, and daily functioning
• Provide direct support to students with special needs in the inclusive classroom individually, in small groups, or one-to-one as needed
• Ensure students have access to accommodations and supports per IEPs
• Assist with testing, classwork and homework completion, program reviews, reports, and student files
• Assist certificated personnel in lessons and classroom activities
• Record data on behavior for interpretation by BID, Inclusion Specialist, and other staff
• Record and track supports in Welligent weekly
• Attend and complete trainings
• Foster a safe learning environment and promote positive behaviors
• Support students toward college and post-secondary goals
