Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assists with implementing individualized education plans (IEP).
• Assists special education staff with preparation, implementation, and evaluation of programs.
• Assists in communicating with teachers and parents about student progress.
• Maintains records to monitor student progress daily and monthly.
• Provides students with additional practice on identified skill areas.
• Prepares instructional materials and operates instructional equipment.
• Supervises students during recess and lunch, ensuring a calm, safe environment.
