Job summary

Bend-La Pine Schools in Bend, Oregon is seeking an Educational Assistant – Inclusion to support students with identified needs in classrooms and resource centers. Under supervision, you will assist with IEP implementation, small group and one-on-one instruction, and progress monitoring.

Qualifications

• At least two years of related college education, an AA degree, or meet the Paraprofessional Assessment Exam with a score of 455 or higher.
• Knowledge of IEPs, special education practices, and supporting students with disabilities.
• Ability to work under supervision with teachers and families.

Responsibilities

• Assists with implementing individualized education plans (IEP).
• Assists special education staff with instruction, preparation, and evaluation.
• Communicates student progress to teachers and parents.
• Maintains records and monitors daily/monthly data on progress.
• Provides practice on identified skill areas and supports routines.
