Job summary

Bend-La Pine Schools is seeking an Educational Assistant - Inclusion to support classroom instruction and assist students with identified needs in various settings. The role reports to the Assigned Teacher and Site Administrator and requires collaboration with licensed staff.

The ideal candidate will assist with IEP implementation, communicate progress to teachers and parents, and help supervise students in daily activities while maintaining a supportive, barrier-free learning environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of related college education or AA degree.
• Paraprofessional assessment may be required for Highly Qualified status.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing IEPs and instructional programs.
• Assist special education staff with preparation, implementation, and evaluation of programs.
• Communicate with teachers and parents on students’ progress.
• Maintain daily and monthly progress data and records.
• Supervise students during recess, lunch, and before/after school.
• Prepare instructional materials and assist with classroom equipment.
