OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY INCIDENT RESPONSE TECHNICIAN

At On-Site Health & Safety, our Health & Safety Incident Response Technicians or Field Technicians can explore various skill sets not otherwise available under traditional positions such as EMT, Paramedic, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, or LVN. Our technicians work in mobile settings, responding in company-provided vehicles to worksites including construction zones, warehouses, refineries, and restaurants. They enjoy the flexibility of clocking in and out from home, avoiding commutes. Our company offers employees opportunities to expand their skills across disciplines.

Founded in 1996 in California, On-Site Health & Safety now operates in 20 states. Our mission is: “We keep America working by being On-Site.” We provide services like incident response, first aid, pulmonary testing, drug screening, hearing tests, and blood draws (when licensed).

Position Benefits:

  • Take home company vehicle
  • Full-Time
  • 4 days/10-hour shifts
  • $21-$28/hour
  • On-call overnight and weekend shifts required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience or education in EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, Military Medic, or equivalent
  • Licensed Vocational or Practical Nurse
  • Additional training in areas like Emergency Medical Response, X-Ray, Phlebotomy, Medical Assistance, CNA (training provided)
  • At least 18 years old
  • Insurable by our motor vehicle insurance with 3-5 years driving history or documented defensive driving training
  • No severe driving violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.)
  • Pass criminal background check
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening and comply with ongoing testing policies

Additional Notes:

  • Clear instruction articulation required
  • Comfort with public speaking
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs for extended periods
  • Willingness to operate a vehicle for long distances, up to 90% of shift

Work Location:

Hiring in key geographical areas to cover extended regions, allowing employees to live nearby and respond promptly to service calls. Background checks include motor vehicle records, with safety considerations for fleet driving privileges. Employment offers are contingent on background and drug test results. Employees may access federally funded sites and are subject to drug testing, including post-accident and random testing. Immunization against hepatitis B is recommended due to exposure risks.
