OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY INCIDENT RESPONSE TECHNICIAN

At On-Site Health & Safety, our Health & Safety Incident Response Technicians, also known as Field Technicians, have the opportunity to develop diverse skill sets beyond traditional roles such as EMT, Paramedic, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, or LVN. Our technicians work in a mobile setting, responding in company-provided vehicles to various worksites including construction zones, warehouses, refineries, and restaurants. They can enjoy the convenience of clocking in and out from home, eliminating commutes to traditional offices. Employees are encouraged to explore different areas of interest and expand their experience across disciplines.

Our mission is: “We keep America working by being On-Site.” Our core services include assisting companies with health and safety compliance, providing incident reports, first aid, pulmonary function testing, drug screening, hearing tests, and blood draws when certified/licensed.

Position Specific Benefits/Privileges:

• Take-home company vehicle
• Full-time employment
• 4-day workweek, 10-hour shifts
• Hourly wage: $23-$25
• On-call rotation, including some overnight and weekend shifts

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education or experience in EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, Military Medic, Licensed Vocational Nurse/LPN, or related fields with additional training (e.g., Emergency Medical Responder, X-Ray Technician, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, CNA)
• Minimum age: 18
• Insurable by our motor vehicle insurance (3-5 years driving history or documented defensive driving training)
• No severe driving violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.)
• Pass criminal background check
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and comply with drug policies

Additional Notes:

• Clear articulation of instructions
• Comfort with public speaking
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs for extended periods
• Willingness to operate a vehicle for long distances, up to 90% of shift

Work Location:

Positions are based in key geographical areas to meet service demand, allowing employees to live within a service area and respond promptly to calls.

Note: Extensive background checks, including motor vehicle records, are conducted. The company evaluates driving history and risk factors before granting fleet driving privileges. Employment offers depend on successful background and drug screening results.

Employees may access federally funded or owned sites, requiring compliance with federal drug testing standards, including pre-employment and random testing.

Some roles are classified as safety-sensitive, subject to additional testing post-accident or randomly.

Immunization against hepatitis B is recommended due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
