OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY INCIDENT RESPONSE TECHNICIAN

At On-Site Health & Safety, our Health & Safety Incident Response Technicians or Field Technicians can explore various skill sets not otherwise available under traditional positions such as EMT, Paramedic, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, or LVN. Our Technicians work in a mobile setting, responding in a company vehicle to worksites including construction zones, warehouses, refineries, and restaurants. Technicians can enjoy the benefit of clocking in and out from their homes, eliminating commutes. Our company offers opportunities to gain diverse experience across disciplines.

Since 1996, On-Site Health & Safety has expanded from California to over 20 states. Our mission: “We keep America working by being On-Site.” Our core services include responding to worksites to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, providing incident reports, first aid, pulmonary testing, drug screening, hearing tests, and blood draws (when certified).

Position Benefits/Privileges:

  • Take home company vehicle
  • Part-Time hours
  • Alternate work week: 3 days/10-hour shifts
  • $21-$28/hour
  • On-call rotation, including some overnight and weekend shifts

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience or education in EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, Military Medic, LVN, LPN, or related fields
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Insurable by our motor vehicle insurance with a 3-5 year driving history or documented defensive driving training
  • No severe driving violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.)
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with ongoing drug testing policies

Additional Notes:

  • Ability to articulate instructions clearly
  • Comfortable with public speaking
  • Able to stand, walk, sit, and climb stairs for extended periods
  • Willing to operate a vehicle for long distances, up to 90% of shift in some cases

Work Location:

The company hires in key geographical areas, allowing employees to live within a service area and respond promptly to calls. Background checks include motor vehicle records, and employment offers are contingent on passing these checks. Employees may access federally funded or owned sites and are subject to drug testing, including random and post-accident testing. Safety-sensitive positions may require additional testing. Immunization against hepatitis B is recommended due to exposure risks.
