Occupational Health & Safety Incident Response Technician

At On-Site Health & Safety, our Health & Safety Incident Response Technicians or Field Technicians can explore various skill sets not otherwise available under traditional EMT, Paramedic, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, or LVN positions. Our Field Technicians work in a mobile setting, responding in company-provided vehicles to worksites such as construction zones, warehouses, refineries, and restaurants. They can enjoy the benefit of clocking in and out from home, eliminating commutes. Our employees have opportunities to explore different disciplines and increase their experience.

Founded in 1996, On-Site Health & Safety operates in 20 states, focusing on keeping America working by providing health and safety compliance services, incident reports, first aid, pulmonary testing, drug screening, hearing tests, and blood draws.

Position Benefits & Privileges
  • Take-home company vehicle
  • Full-time position
  • Work 4 days/10-hour shifts
  • $21-$28/hour
  • On-call overnight and weekend shifts
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education or Experience in EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, Military Medic, Licensed Vocational Nurse/LPN, or related fields including Emergency Medical Responder, X-Ray Technician, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, CNA
  • At least 18 years old
  • Insurable by company insurance with a clean driving record (3-5 years of driving history or documented defensive driving training)
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with drug policies
Additional Notes
  • Ability to clearly articulate instructions and speak publicly
  • Able to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs for extended periods
  • Willing to operate a vehicle for long periods, up to 90% of shifts
Work Location

Technicians are hired in specific geographical areas to respond promptly to service requests, with flexibility to work in surrounding areas. Background checks include motor vehicle record reviews, and employment is contingent upon passing these checks and drug screens. Employees may have access to federally funded sites and are subject to drug testing, including post-accident and random testing. Immunization against hepatitis B is recommended due to exposure risks.

Positions may be safety-sensitive and involve exposure to bodily fluids, requiring compliance with safety protocols.
