Occupational Health & Safety Incident Response Technician

At On-Site Health & Safety, our Health & Safety Incident Response Technicians or Field Technicians can explore various skill sets not otherwise available under traditional EMT, Paramedic, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, or LVN positions. Our technicians work in a mobile setting, responding in a company vehicle to worksites such as construction zones, warehouses, refineries, and restaurants. They can enjoy the flexibility of clocking in and out from home, avoiding commutes. Our company offers opportunities to gain diverse experience across disciplines.

Founded in 1996, On-Site Health & Safety operates in 20 states. Our mission: "We keep America working by being On-Site." Our core services include incident response, first aid, pulmonary testing, drug screening, hearing tests, and blood draws (when licensed).

Position Benefits:

  • Take-home company vehicle
  • Part-time schedule
  • 3 days/10-hour shifts
  • $21-$28/hour
  • On-call overnight and weekend shifts

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience or education in EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, Military Medic, Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse, Emergency Medical Responder, X-Ray Technician, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, or CNA
  • At least 18 years old
  • Insurable by our motor vehicle insurance with 3-5 years driving history or documented defensive driving training
  • No severe driving violations (e.g., DUIs, reckless driving)
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with drug testing policies

Additional Notes:

  • Ability to clearly communicate instructions
  • Comfort with public speaking
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and climb stairs for extended periods
  • Willingness to operate a vehicle for long periods, up to 90% of shift

Work Location:

Positions are based in key geographical areas, allowing employees to live within a service area and respond promptly to calls.

All hires undergo background checks, including motor vehicle records. Employment offers depend on successful background and drug screens. Due to the nature of services, drug testing is federally compliant and may be required pre-employment, after incidents, or randomly. Safety-sensitive roles are subject to additional testing.

Immunization against hepatitis B is recommended due to potential exposure risks.
