DraftKings Inc. is seeking an Incident Manager to lead the response to high-urgency incidents, coordinating across engineering, operations, and product teams to minimize impact.

You will translate complex issues into business terms, document timelines and actions, and drive blameless post-incident reviews to strengthen resilience.

This role includes on-call duties and a base US salary range of 72,000 to 90,000 USD plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience leading incident response bridges with engineers and leadership.
• Ability to prioritize work based on urgency, impact, and risk.
• Strong written and verbal communication to diverse audiences.
• Remain calm, decisive when solving problems under pressure.
• Use incident data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Familiarity with incident management and observability tools like Jira, PagerDuty, Datadog.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end response for high-urgency incidents, coordinating triage across multiple teams.
• Run incident response bridges with engineers, leadership, and stakeholders, aligning priorities and next steps.
• Translate complex technical issues into clear business impacts and maintain timelines and actions.
• Contribute to blameless post-incident reviews and root-cause investigations.
• Analyze production incident data and lead improvement projects for response processes.
• Participate in an on-call rotation outside standard business hours.
