Incident Response Analyst II - Client Onsite

Work Location: San Jose, CA

Worker Type: Full-Time - 100% Onsite - Normal Business Hours

Shifts: Flexible, including weekends, nights, and holidays

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Security and Systems Analyst to join our team at the datacenter. This role is crucial for maintaining the security and integrity of our operations, focusing on physical security (30%) and system monitoring functions (70%). The ideal candidate will respond to incidents, conduct thorough investigations, and contribute to improving our security measures.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Act as the first line of defense in security operations, focusing on quick detection, incident response, and alert investigations.
  2. Manage facility alerts and incidents, including high humidity, high temperature, and power fluctuations.
  3. Handle infrastructure alerts such as IDS or access control alerts, server performance issues, and network connectivity failures.
  4. Serve as the primary contact for site-specific alerts and security incidents.
  5. Enhance electronic surveillance and access control systems through development and implementation strategies.
  6. Support program managers with security project deliverables and contribute to operational security initiatives.
  7. Prepare detailed incident reports, outlining analysis methodologies and results.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a command or operations center environment.
  • Proficient in incident triaging, prioritization based on risk, and confidence levels.
  • High proficiency in IT applications, with fast and accurate keyboard skills (minimum 25 wpm).
  • Basic understanding of security system elements like IP networks, servers, LAN/WAN.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels, including with clients.
  • Basic knowledge of data protection policies such as GDPR.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to work under pressure within time and budget constraints.
  • Experience with security systems like Lenel, Avigilon, SOAR, SAOS, Grafana, and familiarity with others like Genetec, AMAG, etc.
  • Relevant certifications or working knowledge of these systems is a plus.
Salary Range:

$72,960.00 - $115,200.00 USD (base pay only; additional incentives may apply). Placement within this range depends on experience, education, and certifications.
