Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Incident Call Coordinator in Newark, DE. You will support a financial institution by coordinating communications, monitoring security systems, and dispatching incidents from the dispatch center.

Your role emphasizes professional communication, accurate log maintenance, and collaboration with on-site staff and emergency responders to uphold a secure environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, communications systems, and other security-related technology from the dispatch center; document activity and report irregularities according to site procedures.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, incidents, and critical situations to appropriate personnel in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and records of communications, visitor activity, and security-related events.
• Coordinate with on-site personnel, management, and emergency responders as directed during incidents, maintaining clear and timely communication.
