Job summary

CareNow Urgent Care Clinic, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Patient Care Representative to support patients with check-in, information requests, and insurance verification. You will follow clinic procedures and collaborate with the team to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role requires strong customer service, 1 year of clinical experience preferred, and BLS certification within 30 days. Clinic hours are Monday–Friday 8am–9pm, Saturdays 8am–8pm, Sundays 8am–5pm.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Checks-in patients in a timely manner and follows Web Check-in procedures.
• Answers clinic phone calls and provides information or routes questions as needed.
• Verifies insurance timely and accurately.
• Follows occupational client’s preference card and procedures.
• Reviews patient paperwork for completeness and collects insurance/demographic information.
• Completes Daily Balance Checklist after each shift and documents all forms of payment.

The CareNow Urgent Care Clinic hours are Monday-Friday 8am-9pm, Saturdays 8am-8pm, and Sundays 8am-5pm. You must have the flexibility to work during those hours.
