Job summary

Mariner Finance is seeking a customer-focused team member to provide exceptional service and present loan solutions based on customer needs. The role involves processing credit applications, analyzing financial information, and assisting customers with delinquent balances to resolve cases.

You will work at the assigned branch, maintain a cash drawer, and strive to meet branch goals while complying with federal and state laws.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience in customer service or sales.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar programs.
• Ability to complete essential duties in a timely, accurate manner.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and interpersonal skills in demanding situations.
• Must obtain applicable licenses to sell insurance products offered to customers by the branch.
• Must perform work at the assigned branch location.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by solving problems and presenting loan solutions.
• Process credit loan applications and analyze credit/financial information.
• Proactively contact customers with past due balances to offer solutions.
• Meet or exceed branch sales goals for company products and services.
• Learn applicable laws to ensure compliant actions.
• Maintain a cash drawer and deposits to financial institutions as required.
• May perform additional functions based on market demand and staffing.
