Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a Supervisor-Inbound to ensure efficient day-to-day operations for inbound receiving at our warehouse. You will oversee dock and cooler activities, coach associates, enforce safety policies, and maintain quality checks on incoming products.

You will coordinate staffing, guide forklift operations, and drive continuous process improvements in the inbound area while ensuring adherence to company policies and performance standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of warehouse experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks, work independently, and prioritize duties.
• Enforce all policies and procedures related to receiving are being followed daily.
• Enforce compliance on all safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily receiving processes on the dock and in the coolers, ensuring preferred work methods are being followed by associates.
• Assisting employees if short-staffed driving forklifts, shipping trucks, receiving the product, loading trucks, or cleaning warehouse.
• Communicating with the teams daily to explore opportunities within the inbound processes
• Review, coach, and develop the maintenance associates.
• Monitoring work, adherence to policy and safety requirements.
• Issuing discipline when necessary.
