Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an experienced warehouse operations leader to direct safety, efficiency and productivity across our distribution facilities. You will supervise the warehouse management team and associates, hire, train, and develop staff while ensuring compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.

You will collaborate with Transportation, HR, Admin and other departments to optimize product flow, maintain equipment and ensure accurate receiving, slotting and shipping

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to plan and organize work and time, analyze data, and solve problems.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Ability to handle departmental issues and support direct reports.
• Proven ability to plan and organize multiple tasks and projects.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment and collaborate with teams.
• Ability to plan, develop and coordinate multiple projects.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage confidential information.
• Must pass a physical assessment test.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, observe and enforce all safety rules to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Oversee, hire, train, develop, evaluate and ensure accountability of warehouse management team and associates.
• Lead operations with a focus on safety, efficiency, and productivity.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment meeting company and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Transportation, HR, Administration and opcos for optimal product flow.
