Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, or related field.
• Experience leading people and directing day-to-day work in transportation/logistics.
• Experience using metrics and data to manage performance and improve processes.
• Strong understanding of transportation operations, carrier performance, and the broader supply chain.
• Proven leadership, coaching, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong problem solving, analytical, prioritization, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with TMS, workflow tools, reporting, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Associate Planners, setting clear performance expectations and accountability.
• Direct day-to-day AP workload, priorities, coverage, and execution to meet service levels.
• Oversee resolution of inbound transportation issues including carrier service failures and delays.
• Build team capability in problem solving, business judgment, organization and communication.
• Provide oversight of carrier compliance and service management activities and drive improvements.
• Own and improve AP processes, workflows, controls, and procedures.
• Use metrics and root-cause analysis to monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Collaborate to implement workflow automation and system enhancements.
