Job Description:
Role Summary
The primary responsibility of the position is to support leadership and the operational direction for departments within the fulfillment center to include Inbound, Outbound, Quality or Returns as well as other areas as needed. This position will support the productivity and performance accuracy of these areas of the operation.
Role Description (Duties & Responsibilities
Support in leading and developing a team of employees to achieve operational and productivity goals while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
Conduct daily shift meetings and support workforce staffing and scheduling to meet operational business needs
Prioritize and champion safety initiatives and protocols to ensure a safe work environment by conducting regular safety meetings and promoting a culture of safety awareness
Support all aspects of area operations including productivity, inventory management, order fulfillment and quality assurance
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Monitor and analyze KPIs to drive continuous improvement; develop and execute action plans to address areas of concern and meet performance targets
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
Generate and analyze reports on operational performance and present findings to senior management
Track attendance and timekeeping on a daily basis
Key Qualifications
Required Qualifications (Minimum Requirements):
Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain management preferred
2 + years of team lead experience in retail, wholesale, or direct-to-consumer operations with proven experience in a fulfillment center environment.
Leadership , communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze data, make informed decision and solve complex problems
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), automated fulfillment equipment, and Google Suite applications required
Preferred Qualifications (nice to haves):
Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions (only required for Fulfillment Center jobs)
The incumbent is required to have sustainable physical requirements including but not limited to standing for long periods of time (up to 10 hours), lifting up to 30 lbs repeatedly, walking long distances repeatedly, bending, stooping, climbing ladders or stairs repeatedly, manual dexterity of hands to process orders, push or pull up to 50lbs.
