Job summary

Graybar seeks a Customer Service Representative in Michigan to be a main contact for customers, handling orders and inquiries with timely, courteous support. You will participate in selling Graybar goods on inbound calls and assist with product selection and applications.

Responsibilities include coordinating orders, pricing, expediting, billing, and credits, while maintaining high service quality. Typically Monday–Friday, with competitive hourly pay and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact.
• Some retail or counter sales experience preferred.
• High School education.
• 2 year or 4 year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer experience is top notch in quality.
• Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls and written correspondence in a professional, timely manner, ensuring follow up on all customer issues.
• Take an active role in selling Graybar goods and services on inbound calls.
• Provide support on product selection and application.
• Coordinate customer service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credit and claims.
