Job summary

DCL Logistics is seeking a Receiving Supervisor to oversee inbound shipments and returned merchandise, ensuring accurate processing and ERP entry. This role collaborates with warehouse, quality control, and customer service to maintain inventory accuracy and efficient workflows.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years leading receiving teams, strong leadership, and solid warehouse knowledge. This on-site role requires lifting, equipment operation, and overtime flexibility.

Qualifications

• Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication.
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical, and reporting skills.
• Must be able to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.
• Experience in receiving/warehouse leadership is preferred.
• 3+ years in a receiving department leadership role is required.
• 3-5 years in warehouse/logistics is required.
• Overtime/weekends availability as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Supervise receiving activities: unloading, inspecting, sorting, documenting incoming shipments.
• Ensure received goods are counted, verified, and entered in ERP systems.
• Collaborate with Client Services, Inventory Control, and Quality Control to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain daily accuracy of the Check Inbound Log and Receiving Hold Log.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area per OSHA and standards.
• Train receiving personnel and maintain training records.
• Adhere to 5S standards and ISO procedures as applicable.
