Job summary

DCL Logistics, a leading 3PL and technology-enabled logistics provider, seeks a Receiving Supervisor in Louisville to oversee inbound shipments and returns. You will supervise the receiving team, ensure accuracy in ERP systems, and drive inventory integrity across the warehouse.

Responsibilities include training staff, maintaining logs, adhering to 5S and ISO standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication.
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical, and reporting skills.
• Computer literacy and Microsoft Office proficiency required.
• JD Edwards experience is a plus.
• Overtime/weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all receiving activities, including unloading, inspecting, sorting, and documentation of incoming shipments.
• Ensure all received goods are accurately counted, verified, and entered in DCL’s ERP systems.
• Perform sorting, separating, and putting away of inventory in warehouse locations.
• Collaborate with Client Services, Inventory Control, and Quality Control teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain daily accuracy of the Check Inbound Log and Receiving Hold Log.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Responsible for training receiving personnel and maintaining training records.
• Monitor KPI’s such as receiving accuracy, turnaround time, and damaged rates.
• Schedule and assign tasks to receiving personnel based on workload and priorities.
• Create reports per customer requests.
• Adhere to 5S standards.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
