FreezPak Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented Inbound/Outbound Checker for the 1st shift in Suffolk, VA. You will verify all incoming and outgoing shipments, document items, and ensure inventory accuracy in a cold storage facility.

The role requires attention to detail, basic computer literacy, and teamwork in a dynamic warehouse setting, with safety and efficiency at the core of daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Document received goods with product codes, quantities and conditions.
• Report discrepancies or damaged items to supervisor.
• Update inventory records in the warehouse management system.
• Coordinate with receiving and shipping teams for unloading and storage.
• Verify outgoing shipments against customer orders and packing lists.
• Ensure all shipping documents are complete and accurate.
• Inspect outgoing products for damage and accuracy.

About the Role

FreezPak Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Inbound and Outbound Checker to join our cold storage team. The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying and documenting all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory.

What You’ll Do

Receiving Shipments:Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.

• Documentation:Accurately document received goods, including product codes, quantities, and conditions.


• Quality Control:Report any discrepancies or damaged items to the warehouse supervisor.


• Inventory Management:Update inventory records in the warehouse management system.


• Coordination:Work closely with the receiving team to ensure efficient unloading and storage of goods.


• Order Verification:Check and verify outgoing shipments against customer orders and packing lists.


• Documentation:Ensure all shipping documents are complete and accurate.


• Quality Control:Inspect outgoing products for damage and accuracy.


• Coordination:Coordinate with the shipping team to ensure timely and accurate dispatch of goods.


• Inventory Management:Update inventory records and report any discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.

What You Bring to the Pak

• Education:High school diploma or equivalent.


• Experience:Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in a cold storage setting.

Pay Range: $17.51 – $20.76 per hour

This pay range represents the Company’s good-faith estimate of the starting hourly compensation for this role at the time of posting. The actual rate will be determined based on a combination of factors including experience, qualifications, work location, and internal pay alignment, in accordance with applicable laws.
