Job summary

Target in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Inbound Expert to help keep General Merchandise shelves stocked, organized, and accurately signed. You will assist guests, support back-up cashier duties, and execute efficient sorting and handling of merchandise on the sales floor.

Ideal candidates are at least 18 years old, comfortable with a fast-paced environment, able to lift up to 44 pounds and use handheld scanners, with flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the salesfloor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle environmentally sensitive items in compliance with laws.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work safely and report hazards; comply with safety policies and training.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up and Drive up while complying with laws.
• Greet guests and assist with daily tasks and needs.
