Job summary

Target is seeking an Inbound Expert in General Merchandise to enhance guest experiences, ensure product is correctly stocked and priced, and support efficient pick, pack, and ship fulfillment on the sales floor.

The role emphasizes guest service fundamentals, operation of scanners and cash registers, and compliance with safety policies. Flexible shifts and a fast-paced environment are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a welcoming, helpful attitude toward guests and teammates.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and standard store technology, communicate clearly.
• Work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Resolve guest questions quickly and follow multi-step processes with accuracy.
• Capable of handling cash register operations when needed and staying detail-oriented.
• Able to climb ladders, lift/move merchandise up to typical shift weights, and stay mobile.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays and adapt to temperature changes.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring guest experience by greeting and assisting customers.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping trip.
• End every guest interaction with a sincere thank you and positive attitude.
• Support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining safety and compliance.
