Job summary

Webstaurantstore seeks an Inbound Manager to oversee the receiving department, including unloading, QA, check-in, and put-away. You will ensure accurate onboarding of inventory, report discrepancies, and collaborate with carriers/vendors and procurement to resolve issues.

You will lead a large team across shifts, drive metrics, and partner with leadership to meet operational directives while upholding SOPs and company values.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptive and diplomatic with emotional intelligence.
• Customer service-oriented attitude with a desire to exceed expectations.
• Willingness to work off-shift for urgent needs.
• Coaching and developing managers.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations within the receiving department, including scheduling, unloading of imports and domestic trailers, inventory accuracy checks, and storage for shipping.
• Train, coach, develop and hold up to 100 employees to meet metrics.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly receiving metrics and resolve issues.
• Communicate policies and procedures clearly to all teams.
• Lead weekly and monthly meetings to review metrics and initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for productivity growth, cost reduction, and process efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership to meet DC needs and develop leadership bench.
