The major function of this position is:
Receive and process inbound freight, conduct put away processes, perform internal replenishments, conduct cycle counts, and fulfill orders for internal customers in a timely and accurate manner.
Hourly Rate of Pay: $18.00
1st Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Provide 100% customer satisfaction on replenishment orders, picking, put away accuracy, inbound turn times, and inventory accuracy.
- Unload inbound trucks and containers with eyewear, cases, displays, and other Maui Jim/Zeal products.
- Check delivery documents against received goods and document discrepancies on BOLs.
- Identify packaging or labeling issues.
- Pick and deliver offsite materials for replenishments and DC shipments.
- Perform put away functions for all product types from inbound, internal replenishments, and returns accurately and promptly.
- Process display shipments following SOPs accurately.
- Maintain production and accuracy standards using KPI macro.
- Perform distribution functions in SAP (RF) related to product transfers.
- Conduct daily/weekly inventory counts.
- Inspect incoming POP and packaging per receiving guidelines.
- Keep processing area organized.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment.
- Support special projects and functions across the distribution center.
Other Duties:
- Communicate ideas to supervisor and team to meet department goals.
- Work independently and communicate job flow to team leads/supervisors.
- Show flexibility and maturity in teamwork.
- Perform other work-related duties as needed.
Special Physical Requirements:
- Communicate effectively in various business settings.
- Utilize PC and RF scanner.
- Lift up to 40 lbs independently.
- Push/pull carts up to 70 lbs.
- Work at a fast pace and stand long periods.
- Operate material handling equipment.
- Drive a box truck (Class C license).
Desired Qualifications:
High school diploma with 1-2 years warehousing experience; SAP experience preferred.
