Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inbound Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimize the inbound supply chain operations at our beer distribution warehouse in Maryland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating deliveries from suppliers and third-party freight providers, managing receiving schedules, ensuring compliance with inventory and quality control standards, and supporting warehouse efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Coordinate inbound shipments from suppliers and third-party freight providers.
2. Manage daily receiving schedules through OpenDock, verify BOLs, and communicate with carriers regarding ETAs, cancellations, and reschedules.
3. Verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and compliance with purchase orders.
4. Collaborate with warehouse staff for unloading, storage, and documentation.
5. Address discrepancies, damages, or delays promptly and communicate resolutions.
6. Maintain detailed records for carrier performance documentation.
7. Review return and claim processes for recalled and damaged products, including proper damage documentation for claims.
8. Support updating product records and assist with inventory count sessions and scheduling.
9. Ensure compliance with state and federal alcohol regulations.
10. Support audits and inspections by maintaining organized records and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or inventory coordination (beer or beverage industry a plus).
• Familiarity with transportation and inventory systems (e.g., WMS, OpenDock).
• Strong proactive communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in refrigerated or ambient warehouse environments.
