Job description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to manage the efficient flow of goods, services, and information from the point of origin to customer placement. This role is crucial in ensuring customer service and time objectives are met within existing financial constraints, aligning with marketing and financial goals. The Logistics Coordinator will oversee standard logistics processes, including replenishment systems, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration, and related functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control the efficient flow of goods, services, and information to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure customer service and time objectives are achieved within financial constraints.
• Execute and continuously improve standard logistics processes.
• Build relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives.
• Integrate learning from various sources to continuously improve competitive position.

Basic Skills Required:

• Active Top Secret security clearance w/ current SSBI
• Comprehensive knowledge of DoD policy relating to Supply Chain, Property, and Inventory (e.g., DoD 4100.39, 4140.01, 4160.21, 4160.28, 5000.64, 8320.04, etc.).
• General knowledge of governing DoD and Service supply chain logistic support systems, including FLIS, FEDLOG, AESIP, H2 FSC, H6 Item Name Directory, LMP, GCSS-MC, GCSS-A, and DPAS.
• Wide-ranging understanding of interoperability between all services supply chain data management.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds unassisted.

Desired Skills:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, completing multiple tasks and meeting stringent deadlines.
• Intermediate skill level in Microsoft products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint (web portal).
• Familiarity with Special Operations Logistics Management System (SOLMAN).
• Familiarity with Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).

An ACTIVE U.S. Government Security Clearance is Required to be considered for this role.
