Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Richmond, VA. You will be the first contact for customers, agents, brokers, and internal partners, handling a high volume of inquiries with empathy and efficiency.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Prior customer service experience is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication to diverse audiences.
Ability to navigate multiple systems with ease.
Ability to analyze information and make informed decisions.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Flexibility to adapt to change and learn new skills.

Responsibilities

Complete applicable new hire training.
Handle inbound inquiries from customers and partners via calls, emails, chats, and other methods.
Educate and respond accurately using product, systems, and business knowledge.
Navigate multiple systems and platforms simultaneously.
Adapt communication style to provide a positive customer experience.
Document information accurately per guidelines and procedures.
Support departmental projects and developmental opportunities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
