Job summary

Surya Inc. is seeking an Inbound Container Scheduler to coordinate scheduling and receipt of inbound containers at the distribution center in Georgia.

This hourly/full-time role requires organizing daily/weekly container appointments, tracking ETAs, processing release docs, and sharing updates with dock, warehouse crews, and other departments. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with early morning schedules

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in warehousing/transportation with focus on scheduling and receipt.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inbound shipments and create container schedules for drop/pick and live unloads.
• Print and complete receiving sheets; set up expected unloads in WMS for the next day.
• Open and close appointments for warehouse crews and check variances as needed.
• Communicate receiving information to the dock and affected departments.
• Send the next-day unload list to all applicable parties daily.
• Create appointments in WMS for the following week.
• Notify teams upon arrival of special items and ensure timely receipt.
