Surya Inc. in White, GA is seeking an Inbound Container Scheduler to coordinate scheduling and receipt of inbound containers at the distribution center.

You will manage daily and weekly appointments in WMS, monitor container ETAs, process release documents, and communicate with dock and warehouse teams in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in warehousing/transportation with focus on scheduling and receipt.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inbound shipments and create container schedules for drop/pick and live unloads.
• Print and complete receiving sheets; set up expected unloads in WMS for the next day.
• Open and close appointments for warehouse crews and check variances as needed.
• Communicate receiving information to the dock and affected departments.
• Send the next-day unload list to all applicable parties daily.
• Create appointments in WMS for the following week.
• Notify teams upon arrival of special items and follow up to ensure timely receipt.
• Check container ETAs daily, update the system, and report changes to the appropriate parties.
• Process original documents and send OBLS to forwarders for container release.
• Monitor all special or urgent items in transit and respond to status requests from other departments.
• Track air and courier shipments daily and request upload/receipt upon arrival.
• Monitor ROG to ensure all POs are received in MAS; resolve variances.
• Cross-train with co-workers to ensure coverage during time off.
