Position Summary

The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for managing daily warehouse transportation activities through the Transportation Management System (TMS) and Yard Management System (YMS). This role oversees appointment scheduling, driver flow, dock door assignments, and yard operations to ensure the efficient movement of inbound and outbound shipments. The Scheduling Coordinator serves as the primary communication link between warehouse operations, carriers, and drivers, utilizing the YMS to assign dock doors, provide real-time instructions, and maintain visibility of trailer and yard activity. This position plays a critical role in maximizing dock utilization, reducing carrier wait times, and supporting safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse operations.
