We are currently seeking an Inbound Commercial Sales Manager to lead a key channel for Espresso Parts. You will spend your time focused on delivering new and incremental, profitable business by executing a comprehensive sales cycle strategy for key brands, as well as finding unique ways to continue growing our core customer revenue in specialty coffee. You will also be tasked with creating and managing existing strategic accounts and farming new business with those existing customers. You are well-versed in managing and developing a pipeline of business and know how to close the deal. You thrive in driving results and building stories of success. The ideal candidate for this role is self-driven, authentic, and passionate about delivering results, seeking a place to advance their career. You are passionate about the coffee industry and providing a best-in-class experience for our prospects, customers, partners, and more.

Hours: (M-F) 8am - 5pm PST **can be flexible within reason

Responsibilities:

  • Own all revenue goals for inbound commercial sales for key equipment brands.
  • Develop new sales plans for key account management to achieve goals in major opportunity categories, including independents, small to mid-sized chains, and roasters.
  • Travel- able to travel up to 15% of the time to trade shows, regional market events, customer visits, and demonstrations.
  • Direct business through email, phone, SMS, HubSpot (CRM), Shopify, and face-to-face demonstrations.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and sales trends, reporting on the forces that may shift budgets and strategic direction

QUALIFICATIONS, ATTRIBUTES & EXPERIENCE:

  • Candidates must have specialty coffee and/or foodservice experience, specifically with commercial coffee equipment from brands such as LaMarzocco, Rancilio, Ascaso, Fiorenzato, Bunn, Mahlkonig, and Fetco.
  • Experience selling high-value equipment is a requirement.
  • Candidates must have held a budget and shown success in meeting and or exceeding goals. Ideally, the candidate has successfully managed a scaling book of business exceeding 2 million annually.
  • This candidate should thrive in a high-paced environment and should be self-motivated. Consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one; look beyond things accepted as “given” to suggest creative approaches. Maintains confidentiality and high ethical standards.
  • Broad Experience with CRM and full sales cycle management inside a sales pipeline is required.
  • Should have experience creating, writing, and presenting new SOPs
  • Candidates should be experienced negotiating high-value contracts or sales to C- level, procurement officers, Account managers and making presentations.
  • Candidates should have experience building and presenting to internal stakeholders.
  • Candidates should maintain a positive attitude under pressure, exhibit a strong work ethic, and enjoy working with a wide range of projects.
