Serif Biomedicines is seeking an experienced scientist to join the in vivo pharmacology group in Cambridge, MA. This hands-on role focuses on executing preclinical studies in rodent models, including humanized mice, to support programs and collaborations with CROs.

The position reports to the head of pharmacology and requires collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced biotech environment, protocol authoring, and data-driven decision making.

Formación

• M.S with 10+ or B.S with 12+ years industry experience.
• Hands-on experience in mouse models of immunology, oncology and transgenic reporters.
• Experience writing IACUC protocols; familiarity with NHP protocols preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced biotech setting.

Responsabilidades

• Execute and oversee in vivo efficacy, biodistribution, PK/PD in rodent models.
• Contribute to study designs, study planning, and resource allocation of in vivo studies by working with head of Pharmacology.
• Perform animal procedures including blood collection, necropsy, tissue harvest, and dosing through multiple routes.
• Establish and maintain relationships with vivarium and external CROs to ensure high quality and timely execution.
• Maintain accurate experimental records, study protocols and reports.
