Lexeo Therapeutics in New York City is seeking a hands-on in vivo pharmacologist to build rodent models of cardiac disease and advance discovery. You will design, perform, or manage studies from target validation through hit identification, collaborating with in vitro pharmacology, engineering and translational sciences to select-advance molecules.

The role requires strong experience with multi-route dosing, surgical models, data analysis, and delivering clear results to project teams.

Formación

• PhD or MS with substantial industry experience in cardio/pharmacology.
• Hands-on rodent work including dosing, surgeries, and necropsy.
• Experience using rodent models for target validation or efficacy testing.
• Strong data analysis and statistics understanding (e.g., GraphPad).
• Ability to work onsite at HQ in New York City.

Responsabilidades

• Design and execute in vivo studies to de-risk targets using genetic tools and compounds.
• Establish rodent cardiac disease models, incl. TAC and MI.
• Perform therapeutic screening to rank candidates by efficacy and dose response.
• Dose via multiple routes and via osmotic minipump across longitudinal studies.
• Lead study takedowns and sample processing for downstream analysis.
• Coordinate with Translational Sciences to develop biodistribution and biomarker endpoints.
• Analyze data, present to project teams, and maintain ELN per IACUC standards.
• Manage study logistics and budgets, flag risks early.
