Job summary

Arbor Biotechnologies is seeking an in vivo pharmacology specialist in Cambridge to advance gene editing programs through dosing, tissue collection, and molecular readouts. You will work on-site 4–5 days per week under the Senior Scientist, In Vivo Pharmacology.

You will run rodent studies, coordinate studies across labs, and perform molecular assays like qPCR, RNAscope, and ELISA, contributing to IND-enabling work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years industry experience or Master’s with 1+ year.
• Hands-on in vivo rodent studies including dosing, monitoring, blood collection, tissue harvest, necropsy.
• Ability to dose rodents by IV, retro-orbital, or similar routes.
• Process tissues for molecular/biochemical/pharmacodynamic endpoints.
• Experience with qPCR/ddPCR, RT-qPCR, Western blot, ELISA, RNAscope; flow cytometry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run in vivo pharmacology studies in rodents from dosing to tissue harvest and readouts.
• Coordinate between laboratory and animal facility; schedule studies.
• Process tissues and samples for molecular, biochemical, and pharmacodynamic analyses.
• Run assays such as qPCR/ddPCR, RT-qPCR, Western blot, RNAscope, ELISA.
• Analyze and graph study data; present findings to teams and collaborators.
• Maintain accurate study records and sample inventories.
