Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for customers needing technology support and guidance for computers and devices in our Brick Township store.

You will receive training and resources to assess customer needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs. This role requires delivering friendly, knowledgeable service and supporting customers through the decision to repair or replace devices.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check‑in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and giving accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs replacement decisions.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
