Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent in Washington, DC to be the first point of contact for technology support and solutions for computers and devices, with training provided to assess needs and perform basic services.

You’ll work with other agents on more complex repairs, help customers decide whether to repair or replace devices, and stay current through training. This is a part-time role at our local Best Buy store in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends
• Passion for technology and desire to solve problems

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service during check-in and checkout
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and taking notes and providing time estimates
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replace
• Monitor service queues and provide status updates
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents
