Job summary

Intuit seeks TurboTax - Retail Experts to work onsite at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide full-service tax preparation, tax advice, and software support to in-person customers, enabling them to navigate their tax needs and achieve positive financial outcomes.

You will grow TurboTax’s client base within local communities, attract new clients, and foster long-term relationships with customers through marketing support and the TurboTax tools.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with tax preparation experience.
• PTIN required to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Utilize government resources, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in plain language.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and genuine interest in helping clients achieve financial goals.
• Build long-term trust to convert one-time transactions into loyal, multi-year relationships.
