Job summary

Intuit seeks TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide hands-on tax prep, advice, and software support while building local client relationships.

You will engage with customers in person, grow the local TurboTax presence, and be part of a team delivering exceptional service and prosperity to the community.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain PTIN to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex situations.
• Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to identify deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and offer future planning advice.
• Deliver accurate tax solutions using government resources, professional tools, and team expertise in everyday language.
• Grow TurboTax client base by engaging with local community and leveraging marketing support to build relationships.
