Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location nationwide. The role blends tax expertise with community engagement, helping customers navigate tax needs and achieve positive financial outcomes.

You will perform in-person tax preparation and advice, assist with TurboTax software, and grow your local client base through outreach and marketing support. This is a non-exempt, on-site position with flexible weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be willing to work onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community.

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador: represent TurboTax locally and engage with prospects to build a client base.
• Provide Tax Expertise: hands-on tax advice, full return preparation, and planning for diverse tax situations.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience: maintain professionalism and help clients achieve financial goals.
