Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide in-person tax preparation, advice, and software support, helping clients navigate complex tax situations and maximize refunds while building local relationships.

Applicants must be licensed (EA/CPA/attorney) and have PTIN, 3+ years of tax return prep, and be willing to work 20+ hours per week onsite in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds as needed.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sundays–Saturdays, for 20+ hours/week.
• Interest in building local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating tax tips and content in line with policy.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.
• Must wear TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, including simple to complex tax situations.
• Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to maximize deductions, minimize liabilities, and plan for the future.
• Deliver accurate tax solutions using government resources, professional tools and team expertise.
• Build trust and deliver high-quality customer experiences to drive retention and referrals.
