Job summary

Intuit Careers is hiring TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will perform in-person tax return preparation, provide tax advice, and assist customers with software support while building a local client base and fostering ongoing relationships.

You will be a trusted advisor, engaging with the community, delivering a high level of service, and representing TurboTax in local marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Active EA, CPA license or attorney status is required.
• PTIN in good standing to file taxes.
• Must hold or obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040s per season using professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at TurboTax location, 20+ hours/week, Sundays through Saturdays.
• Interest in building local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.
• Willing to wear TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax return preparation and tax advice for TurboTax customers.
• Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to optimize deductions and refunds and provide planning advice.
• Leverage resources and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in everyday language.
• Grow TurboTax client base in local community with marketing support and outreach.
• Deliver best-in-class customer experience and build long-term relationships.
