Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an In-Store Shopping Clerk to enhance customer experiences and ensure high-quality, fresh products. You will shop in-store, fulfill online orders, and assist customers with substitutions and order updates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Be 21+ years old with outgoing and friendly behavior
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Ability to operate front end equipment: register, calculator, scanner
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend throughout the workday
• Able to maneuver a 20 lb cart and walk up to 3 miles in an 8-hour shift

Responsibilities

• Work in-store to shop and fulfill customer orders using the Instacart Shopper App on a mobile device
• Provide excellent customer service by focusing on product quality and freshness, and substituting potential out-of-stock items
• Communicate any necessary changes to an order
• Process order transactions using the in-store POS system
• Serve as an online ambassador for the store, answering questions about order delivery and the Instacart platform
• May assist in other areas by stocking shelves, filling frozen food bins, and helping maintain store cleanliness and presentation
