Job summary

Crossmark Inc. in Minnesota is seeking an Associate to perform in-store food and non-food demonstrations. You will learn about products, engage customers, and present features and benefits while maintaining a professional appearance and safe, clean work area.

The role is up to 25 hours per week with potential adjustment by client needs. Prior experience is helpful, and bilingual skills may be valued depending on location. Salary is posted at $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in ability to use and navigate on a personal computer or personal mobile device using applications and internal systems.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local Food handlers permit may be required.
• Language Skills: English is the primary language skill; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.

Responsibilities

• Possesses the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
• Intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
• Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
• Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances.
• Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work station using cleaning chemicals.
• Builds and maintains rapport with store personnel to meet company objectives.
