Job summary

Crossmark Inc. is seeking a Part-time Associate to perform in-store food and non-food demonstrations and engage customers with product knowledge. The role requires maintaining professional appearance and handling food samples using standard appliances within a retail setting.

The job emphasizes strong communication, ability to learn products quickly, and collaboration with store staff. The role may involve limited travel and is estimated at about 25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device with internal systems.
• Local Food handlers permit may be required.

Responsibilities

• Possesses the aptitude to gain knowledge of products represented.
• Proactively intercepts, engages, interacts, and sells product to consumers.
• Explain features and benefits clearly to customers.
• Prepare and serve food samples using appliances like microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives.
• Maintain a clean, safe work station with cleaning chemicals.
• Build rapport with store personnel to meet objectives.
• Complete expense reports and online requirements on event day.
• Access the internet and company systems; use MS Outlook, Word and Adobe PDF forms.
